M3B RFD SERIES PRODUCT FAMILY

FLX Series Product Family Commonalities:

  • Filter Electronically Tuned (FLX), passive resonant cavity tuneable bandpass filter.
  • Typically each filter is from 2 to 4 poles (cavities).
  • Typically from 1 up to 4 inch cavity size.
  • Can be either motor tuned (via remote control interface) or manually tuned (via front panel knob).
  • Typically higher insertion loss cavities than VCT and CCT Series, but built-in HPA’s and LNA’s compensate for the higher insertion loss.
  • Typically lower RF power handling than VCT and CCT Series, but an HPA and/or LNA after the filter compensates for the lower power output from the filter.
  • Typically smaller size and weight filter than VCT and CCT Series, but the HPA/LNA subassemblies can increase the package to VCT/CCT size.
