FLX SERIES PRODUCT FAMILY

  • Filter Electronically Tuned (FLX), passive resonant cavity tuneable bandpass filter.
  • Typically each filter is from 2 to 4 poles (cavities).
  • Typically from 1 up to 4 inch cavity size.
  • Can be either motor tuned (via remote control interface) or manually tuned (via front panel knob).
  • Typically higher insertion loss cavities than VCT and CCT Series, but built-in HPA’s and LNA’s compensate for the higher insertion loss.
  • Typically lower RF power handling than VCT and CCT Series, but an HPA and/or LNA after the filter compensates for the lower power output from the filter.
  • Typically smaller size and weight filter than VCT and CCT Series, but the HPA/LNA subassemblies can increase the package to VCT/CCT size.

  • Includes: 
    1. A tuneable FLX Series bandpass filter.

What does it do?

  • The 30-88 MHz tuneable bandpass filters add to the isolation between separate antennas to enable multiple collocated radios to operate simultaneously in the 30-88 MHz range.
  • Multi-band radios connected to this 30-88 MHz filter can operate in other bands via the filter’s buit-in bypass.

  • Internal switching to bypass the tunable filters and splitters.

What does it do?

  • Enables 6 receivers to connect to either of two SATCOM antennas in any combination of the 6 receivers.
  • Rejects interfering signals as close as 10 MHz from the desired signal.
  • Low noise amplification of the desired signals.
  • Fast filter tuning and fast RF switching meet SATCOM waveform requirements.

What is it?

  • Filter tuning is remotely controlled interface from ARC-210 radios.  
  • RF paths switching is remotely controlled from RFPinc RCU.

What does it do?

  • Enables two transceivers to operate in each band from 3 MHz to 512 MHz LOS and in UHF SATCOM.  
  • Reduces interference between at least two radios operating in 225-400 MHz, both fixed frequency and frequency hopping modes.
  • Enables switching between transmit and receive RF port connections on the ARC-210 radio.
  • Enables switching between different antennas whether for different transmit / receive modes or for different bands.
